Serena Williams Got Her Daughter Olympia Ready for Her First Tennis Lesson and Instagrammed the Entire Thing

Serena Williams’s daughter, Alexis Olympia, turned 3 on September 1, which means it’s time to get her out on the tennis court. On her Instagram story, the tennis champion shared her process of preparing her toddler to take on the sport, and it’s pretty darn adorable.

“Guys, I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons,” she said on the video. “Don’t even start with me, because I’m not giving her tennis lessons; I signed her up for some. But the lady has no idea that it’s my daughter, so we’ll see how long that lasts.”

Umm, imagine being that tennis instructor the moment you realize whose kid you’ve got in your class. Terrifying.

Anyway, Williams showed off footage of the tennis racquet she got for her daughter, which matches hers. And she got a black-and-white tennis outfit for Olympia and her doll. “I’m not a pushy mom, but I know how I like technique, so I want to make sure she’s good at teaching Olympia some techniques,” she said.

It seemed that this tennis mom also wanted to get Olympia started on technique before she even held a racquet in her little hands. She shared a video of her daughter taking in a tennis match. “See that open stance?,” she said to her as the 3-year-old focused on the screen.

“So she’s at her tennis lesson, but I’m gonna leave, so I’m not distracting,” Williams said as she updated followers on the day. “I know how to leave and be. I’m not, like, an overprotective mom…no matter what Alexis says,” she added, referring to her husband.

To be fair, Alexis also seems to be a very invested dad. I mean, look at this epic pancake he appeared to make Olympia this morning.

If she wants to be, this kid can be one mean powerhouse on the tennis court. Powered by pancakes and epic fashion.

Osaka wrote: “I’m super grateful for the time we spent together and the things I learned on and off the court, but I feel like now is (an) appropriate time for a change.” Osaka is dating the rapper YBN Cordae.

Through Instagram, she wrote: “Very grateful you’re in my life, always learning from you, always inspired by you. Also, always VERY entertained by you lol. Love ya kid.” In an interview to the Belgian media, Kim Clijsters’s husband Bryan Linch spoke about his wife’s decision to be back on the WTA Tour.

Linch said: “The mountain she is approaching is very high,” said Lynch. “At some point, she completely gave up tennis, she was totally focused on her family and academy, she did not play tennis all days, so it was an unbelievable but unique challenge.

A mother of three children, who go through this unbelievable journey. The children and I support her.” He added: “Over the last two years she played Grand Slam legends and every time she came back home, she was saying the same thing: ‘I feel like a player, not like a legend’

Then I told her that if she wanted to be back, she had to do it now. ‘If you still feel you can compete and you want to embrace this challenge, do it, just give yourself a shot. Do not wait until you are 40 years old to do it.”

‘If Novak Djokovic hadn’t put a ball through the lineswoman’s throat..’ says Murray

novak and woman

Speaking about the Australian Open final, Andy Murray said that he expected a closer battle once he saw the result. Novak Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 in an hour and 53 minutes to secure the 18th Major title and extend his Melbourne Park dominance with the ninth title in the previous 14 years!

In Murray’s opinion, the upcoming stars are not close to Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. They can’t handle the pressure of big matches, something the most outstanding players have been doing for over 15 years. Murray reminded that Thiem won the US Open, but he also thinks the outcome would have been different had Novak Djokovic didn’t get defaulted after hitting the lineswoman with the ball.

Djokovic got defaulted for the first time in a career against Pablo Carreno Busta in the fourth round. The three-time champion had the opening set in his hands, serving well and creating four break chances at 4-3 and 5-4. Pablo fended off three set points at 4-5, gathered momentum and stole Novak’s serve in game 11 to move 6-5 in front.

Angry at himself, Novak accidentally slammed the ball into the lineswoman, knocked her on the floor and left the tournament. Djokovic competed on a very high level in the opening nine games, delivering one good hold after another and creating a break chance in the eighth game.

Carreno Busta saved it to remain in touch, facing an even more significant task behind the initial shot at 4-5. Djokovic had three set points up for grabs at 40-0, losing the next five points and slamming the ball in anger.

Andy Murray believes that Novak Djokovic would have won the last year’s US Open.
The momentum had switched to the Spaniard’s side, who opened a 30-0 lead in the 11th game, with Djokovic taking a medical timeout for the left should injury following a nasty fall.

Carreno Busta broke Djokovic at 15 to forge a 6-5 advantage before Novak sent that ball that had cost him a chance of fighting for the 18th Major crown, hitting the lineswoman and leaving the court after a couple of minutes spent in conversation with the officials.

“I didn’t watch any Australian Open match because I wanted to be there myself. It was a struggle; I stopped following all the players I follow on social media and stuff because I didn’t want to see any Melbourne action.

I expected the final to be closer, to be honest. I also know how good Novak is in Melbourne; he was highly motivated and really played well. Before the match, Medvedev spoke about the pressure on Novak’s shoulders. Still, those guys from the top have been dealing with immense pressure for their entire careers, and they know how to overcome it and play at their best when it matters the most.

In my opinion, the younger players are not close to them. Dominic Thiem did steal the US Open crown, but if Novak hadn’t put a ball through the lineswoman’s throat, I think the outcome would be the same,” Andy Murray said.

Srdjan Djokovic attacks again Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Interviewed by local media in Serbia, Srdjan talked about his son Novak Djokovic, a recent winner of the 18th Slam at the Australian Open 2021, once again attacking his rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. He said: “Among the big three favorites, Novak is always alone against the others.

He not only fights for himself, but also to make it easier for other players to make it to the end of the month. He has excellent manners, you can see how he greets his opponents, how he behaves as a guest, when he loses he always gives his hand and congratulates his rival.

What other athlete does this? Yet he has rarely received a Fair Play award, while Roger Federer has at least fifteen. Western media focused only on Federer and Rafael Nadal and neglected Novak, it was the only way to stop him.

But then it turned out that there is no way to stop him, he is unparalleled, we must surrender to the evidence and accept that he is the best in the world. He It seems that he always does the opposite of what they say, but he has never given anyone a reason to be treated like this, even if the reality is different.

Srdjan Djokovic attacks again Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal
The normal thing would be that everyone loved him, do you know why he plays better in China? There he feels true love, something that he does not experience in many places in the West.

Here they think that only they exist, but in reality they are just one fifth of the planet. In China, India, Russia, Brazil or Africa it’s different, there Novak is treated as if he were a God. 97% of the population feels like one of the family.

Then there is the 3% made up of frustrated people who accuse him of being cosmopolitan, of being too pro-Western. Nole extended her grandfather’s life thanks to his matches. He lived in Banja Luka and was already very ill, but he never missed a game of his nephew, he was always impatient when he played Novak and this made him live longer.

In the worst moment of the Serbian people, God sent Novak to prove that we are a normal people, not a group of savage murderers. In a year and a half Nole will be the best, according to the statistics. The young people on the way are great: Medvedev, Rublev, Tsitsipas and Zverev.

However, they will have to wait for Federer, Nadal and Djokovic to hit the racket before they become champions. Most of them come from Russia, so there is no longer just the Western world, the Chinese have also started playing tennis.

Westerners must understand that we also know something about life, we know how to hit the ball. They believed that all this would never change, but Novak changed everything.”
