“We Bleed for the Love of This Game”- Anthony Joshua Breaks Silence on His Current Position

Anthony Joshua is seemingly missing out on all the sparks of the heavyweight division after his second professional loss against Oleksandr Usyk. This has kept Joshua at bay from a title for some months now. Once an undefeated knockout artist of the weight class, Joshua is no longer invincible for his opponents.

While Andy Ruiz Jr. had displayed the blueprint of stopping AJ in 2019, Usyk reflected on how to batter the Briton superstar for all 12-rounds in September 2021. Now, Anthony Joshua boasts a professional record of 24-2 and has lost his right to claim for a shot at the undisputed title fight.

However, he is just one win away from reclaiming all his lost features. Per reports, he will rematch Oleksandr Usyk shortly for the WBA, WBO, and IBF straps, and the winner will get a shot at the WBC champion next. That said, Joshua has broken his silence via social media and has reflected his opinion on the sport of boxing.

He posted a picture of himself and wrote, “We bleed for the love of this game.”

Despite suffering a scratchy loss against Usyk, AJ is still a threat to the other heavyweight contenders. While several people are favoring Usyk again, we shall not forget the fact that Anthony Joshua has spent more time in the division.
