Leylah Fernandez is very serious of been the best in year 2022; Will 2022 be the year of Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandez?

Published

on

September 11, 2021, on the Arthur Ashe Stadium the two teenagers Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandez, faced off in the final of the US Open women’s singles, with Raducanu winning in straight sets for 6-4, 6-3.

After the game, Fernandez, speaking to the crowd at the post-game awards ceremony, said, “I hope I can be as strong and resilient as New York has been for the past 20 years.

Thank you for always supporting me. Thank you for cheering on. for me. I love you, New York! ” For 2022, what can we expect from Emma and Leylah? Raducanu at the US Open scored only the fourth time she has played in the main draw of a WTA tournament, while Fernandez had already reached the third round of a Grand Slam once.

The most important aspect will be the management of the pressure after having achieved this incredible result. After her incredible victory at Flishing Meadows, the title winner Raducanu was brutally catapulted under the magnifying glass of fans, insiders and the media, who have gutted almost everything or almost everything about the young Briton’s life, especially the UK media, always ready to exalt and destroy (as the case may be) one of their athletes.

Will 2022 be the year of Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandez?
The repercussions were clear: Emma no longer performed well in the few tournaments she played until the end of the season, remedying sensational and unexpected defeats.

Unexpected for those who, however, forget that it is only a 19-year-old practically at the first experience in the Tour: pressure and expectations will be formidable, and both Raducanu and Fernandez will have to deal with them.

it is a physiological passage for all the great tennis players who reached unexpected goals when they were young. Will they be able to repeat the miracle of New York? Here the situation becomes more complex. The WTA Tour is unpredictable.

After Serena Williams was dethroned and after her return from maternity, various princesses tried to take the scepter of queen, but none of her ever really succeeded: Simona Halep, Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka. The Japanese was perhaps the closest and still is still the closest to reaching a level similar to that of Serena, but the many, many outsiders are messing up the WTA Tour.

World, meet “Juliye”!

Julia Fox declared the nickname for herself and beau Kanye West on social media, dubbing the pair “Juliye” alongside a black heart emoji.

Fox, 31, shared the nickname on her Instagram Story atop a paparazzi photo of herself and West, 44, at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2022 show in Paris on Monday.

The duo were dressed in coordinating all-leather ensembles for the event, including a leather jacket and head mask for West that seemed to channel the looks worn in his recently released “Heaven and Hell” music video.

Fox wore dangling gold earrings and carried a gold purse with a keyhole design, completing her look with dramatic eye makeup.

West, whose wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce last February after nearly seven years of marriage, confirmed his relationship with Fox on Jan. 6. Both stars shared their romance with the world with a series of PDA photos published in Interview.

The duo made their red carpet debut Sunday at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in France, attending the Kenzo show in coordinating denim looks.

Kanye West and Julia Fox are seen on January 23, 2022 in Paris, France.
Fox’s outing with West on Sunday came about shortly after the Uncut Gems actress said her relationship with the rapper didn’t come as a surprise to those who know them both.

“I feel like, to the people who know us both personally, like all the people that we have in common, like friends in common, have texted me like, ‘Oh my God, this makes so much sense,’ ” she explained earlier this month on her Forbidden Fruits podcast.

“It’s funny cause I’m getting all of this attention, but I really couldn’t care [less],” she said. “People are like ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.”

Fox went on to note on her podcast that she only cares about creating art and “putting things into the world.”

“Watch my movie, read my book. That is more thrilling to me now than eyes on me. I couldn’t care less,” she claimed.

‘So hyped’: Naomi Osaka spills on love for rowdy Nick Kyrgios
Naomi Osaka finds it hard to come out of her shell but has given an insight into her tennis inspirations – including rowdy Aussie Nick Kyrgios.

The young tennis star said that it wouldn’t be the Australian Open without watching the Aussie play a night match.
Quiet Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka has revealed her admiration for outgoing Aussie player Nick Kyrgios.

When asked about her tennis inspirations and who she has been watching, when speaking to media after her 6-0 6-4 win against American Madison Brengle on Wednesday night, Osaka was quick to name Kyrgios with a laugh.

“I’m honestly feeling like now it’s not Australian Open if you don’t watch a night match of Kyrgios on John Cain (Arena),” the world No. 13 said.

“This guy’s literally always on that court. I thought his serve was awesome. I don’t think my serve percentage was as good as his, but it was really nice to see him back and having the crowd so hyped up.”

Osaka also named teenage up-and-comer Carlos Alcaraz as one to watch, saying she wishes she could trade her forehand with his.

“It’s really fun to watch other players. I think the energy in Grand Slams is really different from other tournaments,” she said.

Osaka, who says she finds it hard to come out of her shell, has made it a point that one her main priorities while playing in the Australian Open is to have fun.

That’s something Kyrgios sure did on his 6-4 6-4 6-3 win against Brit Liam Broady on Tuesday night.

There was dancing between serves, banter with the crowd and two tweeners.

Meghan and Harry ‘launch NEW entertainment firms’ to add to growing business empire

Published

on

MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry have reportedly powered forward with new ventures specifically for the entertainment business after their complex business structures were revealed last week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had set up nearly a dozen companies in Delaware, a US state that does not impose business transaction taxes nor high personal taxes. State filings showed that the couple registered 11 companies from April 2020 in the state, some of which were created to hold the Archewell charity trademark and its affiliated companies.

Within these filings, over half of their new companies have been established for the “entertainment” business.

The couple has already signed a deal to produce content with Netflix, thought to be worth around $100million (£73.7million).

Another deal with streaming giant Spotify signed in December 2020 is reportedly worth another £18million.

Two further companies were registered along with the previous companies on the same day, it has now emerged.

The Telegraph reported that the same lawyer and business manager who worked on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex for years registered these additional companies.

The companies, listed on public records in Delaware and California, were incorporated by Meghan’s attorney, Richard Genow, and her business manager, Andrew Meyer.

They look to be named deliberately for sentimental meaning to the couple, with one harking back to Meghan’s childhood in Los Angeles.

Cloverdale Inc recalls the name of the street on which the young Duchess lived with her mother as she was growing up.

Together with a second company, listed as Riversoul Productions Inc, the venture is purposefully designed for the “entertainment” industry.

This means the Duke and Duchess have listed seven separate companies – including others like Hampshire LLC and IPHW LLC – with this explicit purpose.

The couple previously worked under the name Archewell Productions, used for their collaboration with Netflix, and Archewell Audio for their involvement with Spotify.

These “entertainment” focused companies complete the Duke and Duchess’s portfolio of two publishing companies and three investment firms.
