Jennifer Aniston’s Net Worth Is So High, She Could Definitely Afford …

Published

on

Jennifer Aniston combines ageless, stunning beauty with humor, approachability and familiarity that few other celebrities can match. While she looks every bit the movie star, you can still picture her at your average girls’ night sharing stories over margaritas, or sitting next to you while you get pedis and gossip about your love lives.

You want to look like her and hang out with her. You can’t help but like her, and it pays Aniston very handsomely to be likable. From horror movies to failed TV shows to Friends and megastardom, find out Jennifer Aniston’s net worth and exactly how she made it.

Jennifer Aniston’s net worth
Aniston has an estimated total net worth of $300 million—and rising!

She didn’t exactly start at the bottom
After graduating from New York City’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (the one that inspired the movie Fame), Aniston appeared in some off-Broadway productions until she moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to pursue acting full-time. While she certainly paid her dues in parts on television (playing Courtney Walker in the short-lived Molloy, Jeannie Bueller in the TV series Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and guest-starring in Quantum Leap, among others) and movies (hello, Leprechaun!), she did have at least one advantage over other starving artists at the time: She’s the daughter of actress Nancy Dow and actor John Aniston (and goddaughter of Kojak star Telly Savalas), so she likely had at least a couple of connections and awareness of the industry that helped her eclipse her peers.

Still, she worked odd jobs until she got regular acting work, including as a spokesmodel for Nutrisystem, a bike messenger, a telemarketer and a waitress.

Jennifer Aniston made a ton of money on Friends—and still does
In 1994, Aniston got two offers: As a player on Saturday Night Live or the role of a lifetime as Rachel Green on Friends. Aniston picked Rachel, and it’s safe to say it worked out beautifully. For Season 1, everyone in the show’s cast, Aniston included, reportedly made $22,500 per episode ($540,000 in total).

In Season 2, Aniston and co-star David Schwimmer were rumored to have earned somewhere in the $40,000-per-episode range as Ross and Rachel’s relationship put them more in the show’s spotlight. If that number is accurate, Aniston will have earned approximately $1.04 million.

Season 3 brought the Friends cast into the world of collective bargaining, and they all agreed to match salaries, taking home around $75,000 per episode or $1.875 million total. Season 4 brought them $85,000 per episode, totaling $2.125 million; by Season 5 the cast pocketed $100,000 per episode ($2.4 million for the season). The cast got raises in Season 6 for a cool $125,000 per episode or $3.125 million total, and their raises skyrocketed for Seasons 7 and 8 to $750,000 per episode ($36 million total).

Seasons 9 and 10 made Aniston and co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow the highest-paid women on TV with $1 million per episode for a total of $41 million.

Even though Friends wrapped in 2004, the money keeps coming in: The cast reportedly makes roughly $20 million each from residuals, and Variety reported that each member of the Friends cast will get $2.5 million for their HBO Max reunion special.

Dumplin’ (budget unknown, on Netflix so no box office data applies)
Murder Mystery (budget unknown, on Netflix so no box office data applies)
Aniston’s paydays for each film haven’t been revealed, but due to her star power, it’s safe to assume she commanded some hefty checks, and they keep rolling in: As of this writing, Aniston has five acting projects currently in development or production.

Jennifer Aniston expanded her horizons to producing
In addition to her prolific acting career, Aniston is also a producer. She has seven producing projections currently in development, as well as producer or executive producer credits on projects including Dumplin’, Murder Mystery, Cake and The Morning Show.

Jennifer Aniston commanded big bucks for her return to TV on The Morning Show
After years of doing movies post-Friends, Aniston returned to television with Apple TV+ on The Morning Show…and she didn’t do it for cheap. Aniston and co-star Reese Witherspoon make upwards of $2 million per episode of the series.

When public criticism arose for the stars’ major paydays, Witherspoon defended herself and co-star, fuming to The Hollywood Reporter, “There seemed to be a resentment, as if we weren’t worth it or it was bothersome, and I thought, ‘Why is that bothersome?’ I guarantee these companies are real smart, and if they agree to pay us, they’re doing it for a reason. They probably had a lot of lawyers and a lot of business people decide on that number because they knew that they were going to make more than that back.” She added, “Does it bother people when Kobe Bryant or LeBron James make their contract?”

Jennifer Aniston has lucrative endorsement deals

While some celebrities make themselves a brand (think Jennifer Lopez‘s J.Lo merchandise), Aniston prefers to promote other brands using her own persona: Beautiful, approachable, a girls’ girl. Her endorsements have included Emirates Airlines (reportedly worth $5 million), Vital Proteins, L’Oréal, Aveeno (a deal rumored to be worth eight figures), Smartwater, Living Proof haircare, Heineken, Got Milk, Lynx deodorant, Diet Coke and Shire pharmaceuticals (for a chronic dry eye medication). She also launched six of her own fragrances.

Jennifer Aniston reunites with ex-husband Justin Theroux for special reason

Published

on

Jennifer Aniston’s fans have been left “screaming” with joy after the actress was pictured with ex-husband Justin Theroux during a table read of 80s sitcom, Facts Of Life.

The friendly exes were snapped by Scandal star Kerry Washington, leaving fans seriously excited about the project. Jennifer, 52, looked gorgeous in a black lace-up top as she posed for a selfie with Kerry. Meanwhile, screenwriter and producer Justin, 50, struck a pose alongside Jennifer’s good friend and her The Switch co-star, Jason Bateman.

Alongside a series of behind-the-scenes photos shared on Instagram, Kerry wrote: “LIVE from the cast & producer dinner on Saturday night! Don’t miss this cast recreating @thenormanlear’s classic sitcoms Facts Of Life & Diffrent Strokes! Tonight! #LiveInFrontOfAStudioAudience.”

Jennifer’s fans were loving the candid images, with one penning: “Made my day” and another writing: “I’m screaming”.

A third declared: “JASON JUSTIN AND JEN MY HEART IS GONNA EXPLODE” while another simply wrote: “Jen and Justin” alongside a number of love hearts.

The Friends favourite is starring as Blair Warner in the Facts Of Life remake while Justin is taking on producing duties.

Justin Theroux is serving as producer

Justin and Jennifer, who fell for each other on the set comedy Wanderlust in 2011, tied the knot in 2015. The pair have remained close since announcing their split in early 2018.

They said at the time: “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation.

Jennifer and Justin split in late 2017 after two years of marriage

“This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”

The Morning Show star has made no secret of the fact she’s still close with her ex, and in August she publicly wished her former husband a happy birthday, posting some sweet pictures of him to ring in the occasion.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY JT,” she wrote, adding: “Truly one of a kind, LOVE YOU!”

Prince Harry’s New Legal Battle Suggests How Eager He Is For the Queen to Meet His Daughter Lilibet

Published

on

By

Although Prince Harry has made solo trips across the pond to visit with members of the royal family and join them for special events, the Duke of Sussex’s wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children have yet to return to the U.K. But now, it seems, Harry is eager for his family on both sides of the Atlantic to reconnect. After a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex revealed the lengths to which Harry’s gone to try and secure his family a private security detail for future travels, a new report seems to suggest the Duke of Sussex really wants his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, to meet his 7-month old daughter, Lilibet.

“The fact he has gone down this legal route to try and secure protection suggests to me that he is desperate and there is a real reason for him to come to the UK,” Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana’s former guard, shared during a panel discussion for the Daily Mail. “He has two children that the Queen hasn’t effectively seen yet,” Wharfe observed. Remember: Meghan and Harry’s son, 2-year-old Archie, was born in the U.K. and we have seen photos when Queen Elizabeth first met the newborn. But since their January 2020 move from the U.K. to Canada and then America, the Queen has not seen Archie and hasn’t even met her namesake, Lilibet, in person.
“The very fact he has made this noise with the British Government to secure protection suggests to me that he is going to make a real effort to come back here,” Wharfe continued. “I think we will see him return this year, for the Platinum Jubilee.” While the queen’s official celebration for her Platinum Jubilee will be this February, there will also be days-long festivities this coming June, to which Meghan and Harry might have an invite.
The news of Harry’s ongoing battle to try and retain some security for his family came out last week, and now it’s a lot more clear why that element is so essential to have during the Duke of Sussex’s potential next visit with his family. We can only imagine that Harry is going to such lengths because time is of the essence and reuniting members of his family is important to him. Like Wharfe, we can only hope that arrangements where everyone feels safe can be made so that Harry and his family can have a proper reunion.
The fraught relationship between the Cambridges and the Sussexes has been heavily scrutinized for the past few years. But we’ve never had quite a clearer look at the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Prince William and Kate Middleton, until now. Longtime royal writer Christopher Andersen takes fans into the intimate conversations and exchanges between these two powerful couples in Brothers & Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, illustrating what was lost, gained, and what might be found as the next generation of the royal family embraces the future.
