Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Texas Southern University.

After years of balancing her booming rap career and school, the 26-year-old WAP hitmaker shared photos and footage of the moment she accepted her diploma on Saturday.

‘Meg Thee Graduate,’ she captioned her slideshow. I know my parents are looking down on me so proud. Thank you everyone for all the love today.’

In the first image, she can be seen rocking her cap and gown as well as two honors honors cords and a burgundy graduation stole while sitting down.

Before the ceremony, the studious star smiled as she lounged on a grey couch next to a black Chanel purse with gold-tone hardware.

In another snap, she shot a peace sign at the camera before posing for a car selfie, which showcased her waist-length curls and glamorous makeup.

Additionally, the performer included a picture of her diploma holder and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate with a DIY grad cap on top of it.

For her big day, she opted for a gorgeous bedazzled manicure and black dress.

Her post surpassed one million likes and more than 20,500 comments in under 46 minutes.

Two days ago, she invited her fans to watch her walk across the stage virtually.

‘HOTTIES…I’m officially a @nike Yardrunner, y’all! I’ll be graduating from my HBCU TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY this Saturday!!’ she captioned photos in a grey cropped school sweatshirt and matching miniskirt.

The rapper added: ‘I want y’all to remember that you can do whatever you wanna do and be whoever you wanna be, cause look at me!’

In late October, the singer revealed she was less than a month and a half away from completing her bachelor’s degree by posting a bedazzled ‘real hot girl s**t’ cap,’ which is a nod to her 2019 hit song Hot Girl Summer.

‘2021 finna graduate collegeeee,’ she captioned the slideshow on her Instagram Story. ‘Taking my graduation pics today, I can’t wait for y’all to see.’

In June 2020, the chart topper explained why she didn’t let her rise to fame get in the way of her desire to continue her education in an interview with People.

‘I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,’ Megan said of her academic goals. ‘She saw me going to school before she passed.’

Her mom Holly Thomas died in March 2019 after a battle with brain cancer. Around the same time Megan also lost her grandmother.

The star — whose full name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete — completed classes through online classes at TSU.

Megan was also inspired by other educators in her family, including her grandma, who was a teacher and motivator for the star to finish school.

‘My grandmother that’s still alive used to be a teacher, so she’s on my butt about finishing school.’

‘I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today,’ the Savage rapper added.

The Duke of Sussex has filed a claim for a judicial review against a Home Office decision not to allow him to personally pay for police protection for himself and his family while in the UK.

Harry wants to bring his children to visit from the US, but he and his family are “unable to return to his home” because it is too dangerous, according to a legal representative for the duke.

“He sought a judicial review in September 2021 to challenge the decision-making behind the security procedures, in the hopes that this could be re-evaluated for the obvious and necessary protection required,” the legal representative said in a statement to the PA news agency.

Prince Harry is behaving like a shameless, entitled hypocrite: Piers Morgan

Published

Prince Harry’s move to pursue legal action against the Home Office for refusing him to pay for his own police protection has witnessed severe backlash from Piers Morgan.

The television personality, while writing an opinion piece for The Sun, said that the Duke of Sussex is “behaving like a shameless, deluded, woefully entitled hypocrite” for wanting to pursue legal action.

He added that the timing of Prince Harry’s actions was unwelcomed and would be a “massive headache” for the Queen.

“If he goes through with his threat, it will be the first time any royal has ever sued Her Majesty’s Government, and, of course, causes the Queen yet another massive headache at the worst possible time,” he wrote.

The comment comes after Harry’s legal team issued a statement saying: “The UK will always be Prince Harry’s home and a country he wants his wife and children to be safe in. With the lack of police protection, comes too great a personal risk.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally fund a private security team for their family, yet that security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the UK.

“In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home.”
